This course provides the knowledge and focus soldiers will use for thorough personal introspection providing an understanding of why they believe the way they do, do the things they do, and feel the way they do. With that understanding and ability, they will be able to reevaluate their views and reconstruct them into a personally and professionally more productive, effective, and resilient set of personal views. This course provides:
- Each student with a detailed understanding of why they see the world the way they do, why they feel the way they do, and why they react and behave they way they do
- Each student with the ability to change their thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and reactions positively to support their personal goals
- The framework individual beliefs are based on
- Recognition of the individual’s ability to create or change beliefs
- The ability to create beliefs based on personal goals
- Individual goal creation and attainment process
- The understanding of how emotion is created and how it can be changed
- The ability to choose positive responses instead of negative reactions
- The quantifiable path to individual happiness and success

Transitioning from the Military
Acquire the skills to transition from the military with confidence. Learn how to prepare, determine what civilian positions you will pursue, focus your employment effort in line with your personal strengths, analyze your abilities to determine you most effective course of action, and adopt the communication skills that will allow you to meld with civilian communication and behavior norms.
This course is designed to provide soldiers with the knowledge to enter the secular community with confidence and success. The information will allow students to create employment objectives for themselves based on their individual knowledge, skills, and abilities and purse them through a proven job acquisition process allowing for expedient job acquisition, smooth civilian integration, personal satisfaction, and less reliance on Federal programs.
Students are given the techniques to communicate with others the way others need to hear it so they understand what was said, why it was said, and they like the way it was said, building instant likeability or rapport with them. Additionally, students are taught to adjust from military to civilian norms of communication.
Finally, this course provides information for students outlining how people learn and at times resist learning, even when it’s to their own benefit. Information is provided to recognize and overcome that internal resistance and choose the path to success based on their individual goals.

Understanding People to Avoid Negative Emotions, Reactions, and Consequences
Acquire the knowledge to recognize the eight different belief systems people see the world through. Learn to adjust your communication style and behavior to the belief system prevalent in your environment to increase personal safety, effectiveness, and results. Learn to anticipate behaviors and reactions and choose the most effective behaviors and communications style to accomplish your mission safely and effectively.
Learn techniques and methodology to understand how others see their world (their reality) and to communicate through the words, phrases, and focus of others so the receiver understands what was said, why it was said, and likes the way it was said. The information and techniques provide the user with the ability to be a highly effective communicator and avoid negative emotions, reactions, and consequences when interacting with other people.
This course provides the knowledge and focus soldiers will use for thorough evaluation of their environment and the people in their environment. Soldiers will learn how to recognize how a person views the world (the person’s perceived reality) and how to effectively interact with them to avoid negative emotions, reactions, and consequences. This course provides:
- Each student with a detailed understanding of why people see the world the way they do, why they feel the way they do, and why they react and behave they way they do
- Each student with the ability to change their thoughts, beliefs, behaviors, and reactions positively and effectively to support their desired results from interpersonal communication with others
- The framework individual beliefs are based on
- Recognition of the individual’s ability to effectively tailor interpersonal communication
- The ability to understand the beliefs of others and their personal goals
- The understanding of how emotion is created and how it can be changed
- The ability to choose positive responses instead of negative reactions
- The quantifiable path to successful and effective individual communication
